Plot

Over the course of a frenetic twenty-four hours on Christmas Eve, the lives of a group of young and desperate Los Angeles dwellers intertwine in unexpected ways. Starting from a nondescript supermarket, we are introduced to the first strand of our triptych tale, centered around Ronna, a hardworking clerk on the brink of eviction. She seizes an unusual opportunity when two men, in search of their usual drug dealer, approach her for a score of Ecstasy. In their absence, Ronna, driven by desperation, steps into the risky shoes of the absent dealer, Simon, triggering a series of events that spiral far from her control. In the second thread, we follow the misadventures of the titular Simon, who is on his first-ever trip to the neon-drenched sin city of Las Vegas. Alongside his friends Marcus, Tiny, and Singh, Simon's overzealous nature and a series of unfortunate circumstances plunge them into a night of chaos and confusion, from lost wallets to a troublesome yellow blazer and the misuse of a mysterious gift. Finally, we delve into the world of Adam and Zack, the two young men who unknowingly set Ronna's story in motion. Unbeknownst to her, they lead double lives as soap opera actors and are tangled in the tricky web of an undercover police detective, Burke. The duo is coerced into playing a dangerous game – assisting Burke in capturing a larger prey in the drug trade in exchange for clearing their own minor offenses. An awkwardly intimate Christmas dinner at Burke's home unravels further layers of tension and suspicion. As our protagonists wrestle with their individual dilemmas, their stories collide and intersect, forming a compelling narrative of youthful recklessness, survival, and the chase for a quick buck. "Go" is an adrenaline-fueled tale that peels back the glamorous veneer of Los Angeles and Las Vegas to reveal a world teetering on the edge, where the rush of life takes on a thrillingly dangerous edge.
