Ghost Town (2009)

In the dust-ridden era of the Wild West, an ominous specter of evil looms over a small town. Reb Halland, a notorious gang leader, brokers a sinister pact with the devil himself, acquiring immortality for his gang and ushering in a reign of terror. A new preacher, McCready, arrives in town to counter this menace, employing an arcane defense. His workforce strategically places five mystical totems in the shape of a pentagram, creating a barrier against Halland and his accursed gang. One fateful day, an unsuspecting hoarder, drawn to the oddity of the totems, disrupts the pentagram's formation. The protective seal broken, Halland and his gang ride into town, unleashing a massacre that culminates in their own ritualistic suicides. Their dark pact with Satan ensures their return every 13 years, plaguing the town with their relentless brutality. Fast-forward to the present day, a group of unsuspecting college students, returning from a debate contest, find themselves ensnared in the ghost town's deadly web. As the spectral gang starts picking them off one-by-one, the terrified students scramble to unravel the town's chilling secret. Their survival hinges on locating the final totem and restoring the pentagram to vanquish Halland and his gang. As each victim falls, the terror escalates, for with every kill, the malevolent ghosts grow stronger. The final struggle sees the totem reclaimed and repositioned, triggering the ghosts' expulsion into oblivion. As the remaining survivors escape the cursed town, a lone totem incinerates in their wake, a chilling reminder of the ghost town's horrific legacy.
