Frankenstein's Army (2013)

In the chilling shadows of World War II, a beleaguered Russian troop navigates the war-ravaged landscapes of eastern Germany. A cry for help crackles through the radio, a distress signal from fellow soldiers besieged by German forces. Guided by the iron-willed Sergeant Novikov, they plunge into the eerie German countryside, their journey documented by the keen-eyed soldier Dimitri. As they traverse the scorched earth, they stumble upon grisly scenes that seem sprung from a nightmare: grotesque bodies inexplicably mutilated, a convent of nuns savagely slaughtered, the earth of a cemetery torn open. Each step further unravels the veil of normality, leading them to a hauntingly deserted church. Here, they face an unimaginable terror: an army of undead, their bodies grotesquely modified with mechanical weapons and tools. The source of this horror is unveiled as the secret Nazi laboratory, where the journal of the infamous Dr. Viktor Frankenstein has been unearthed. The unhinged grandson of the notorious doctor, bearing the same name, has been conducting gruesome experiments under the guise of this clandestine lab. He has exploited the genius of his grandfather's work to stitch together an army of super-soldiers, crafted from the body parts of fallen comrades. This macabre creation is Hitler's desperate, final attempt to claw his way out of impending defeat. The Russian troop soon discovers a chilling truth: their mission, clandestinely assigned by their own government, is to either kill this deranged scientist or drag him back to Moscow. As the lines between man and monster blur, these soldiers must navigate a sinister labyrinth of horror and deception, all while battling an enemy that defies the laws of nature. Will they survive the terror that is Frankenstein's Army? Their fate lies shrouded in the dark corridors of this grotesque, mechanized nightmare.
