Plot

In the heart of Sweden's political sphere, David Holst reigns as a charismatic leader, marked by his wit, good looks, and immense popularity. The country anticipates his ascent to Prime Minister, foreseeing the triumph of his party. However, the tide turns unexpectedly, and David tastes the bitter pill of defeat as a rival party snatches the victory, securing four more years at the helm of the country. In the midst of this upheaval, David stumbles upon an unexpected sentiment - love. The catch, however, isn't that he's already bound by marriage or that the object of his affection is another man. It's the fact that the man who has captured his heart, Martin, is none other than a rising star in the very political party that outsmarted his own. As David's heart collides with his political allegiance, he teeters on the edge of losing everything - his family, his political standing, and his reputation. The stakes of maintaining their clandestine love affair grow higher, threatening to erupt into a scandal that could obliterate David's career. Struggling to navigate these murky waters, David's courage wavers, leading to a cascade of blunders and misinterpretations that jeopardize their love. "Four More Years" unravels as a bold and intelligent romantic comedy, interlaced with humor and daring twists. It's a testament to the invincible power of love, demonstrating that it can rise above even the most insurmountable obstacles.
