Plot

In the heart of London, on a sun-kissed day of June 17th, 2006, the Hyde Park stage pulsates beneath the weight of music legends - the Foo Fighters. This remarkable 76-minute concert film captures the band at the peak of their fame, electrifying a mammoth crowd that swelled close to 100,000 strong. Touring in support of their acclaimed double album, In Your Honor, the Foo Fighters, in their most enduring lineup, set the stage ablaze. Led by the charismatic Dave Grohl on vocals and guitar, the band includes Nate Mendel (bass), Taylor Hawkins (drums, vocals on 'Tie Your Mother Down'), and Chris Shiflett (guitar). Throughout their dynamic set, the band strikes a chord with their most beloved hits, including a fiery rendition of 'Breakout.' However, the concert reaches a fever pitch when Dave invites his hero, Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead, to join them on stage. Together, they roar through 'Shake Your Blood,' a song from Dave’s Probot project, much to the delight of the roaring fans. The concert's crescendo comes when none other than Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen grace the stage. Together, they join the Foo Fighters for a spirited performance of 'Tie Your Mother Down,' with Taylor Hawkins taking the lead on vocals. 'Foo Fighters: Hyde Park' is a testament to the power of live music, encapsulating a moment in time when rock reigned supreme and the Foo Fighters ruled the world.
