Plot

In the solitude of his middle-aged existence, a catering manager finds solace in the eccentric culinary world of a television chef, immersing himself in the idiosyncrasies of the shows. Parallel to this, a young Irish woman embarks on a journey to England, driven by the pursuit of her boyfriend who has relocated for employment in a lawnmower factory. Upon her arrival, she crosses paths with the catering manager, who, under the guise of kindness, suggests a boarding room to the unsuspecting woman. As the tale unfolds, the narrative is interspersed with flashbacks, painting a poignant picture of the characters' pasts and their evolution. The chilling revelation emerges that the seemingly harmless caterer harbors a sinister past, having manipulated and harmed numerous young women prior to his encounter with the Irish woman.
