Eyes of Texas (1948)

In the rugged, sun-soaked wilds of Texas, the noble ranch owner Thad Cameron (Francis Ford) transforms his sprawling estate into a sanctuary for fatherless boys, casualties of World War II. However, his seemingly benign lawyer, Hattie Waters (Nana Bryant), succumbs to the intoxicating allure of greed. She concocts a devious plan to seize the valuable ranch, using the arrival of Cameron's long-lost nephew as her pawn. Unbeknownst to Cameron, Waters convinces him to sign a blank will under the pretense of securing his nephew's future.
