Emma (1932)

In the wake of tragedy, Frederick Smith, a budding inventor, is left a widower with a newborn and three elder children. His saving grace is Emma Thatcher, the family's loyal housekeeper and nanny, who embraces the challenge of caring for this motherless brood. She modestly declines, believing the wealth should directly go to the Smith children. But when accused of greed by three of them, she banishes them from the family home.
