Plot

In the world where the obscure becomes known through the power of a name, Jamie Harris (Marguerite Moreau) shapes identities for unheralded products. A young woman, marked by the scars of past relationships and haunted by a mother's suicide, Jamie navigates her life alone, her solitude stark against her sister Laura's (Emily Deschanel) solid relationship. The specter of loneliness lifts when Jamie crosses paths with UCLA Teacher and accomplished poet, John Kalicharan (Naveen Andrews). Immersed in the verses of his eight books of poems, she finds her world colorfully reframed. Their passionate affair seems the antidote to Jamie's heartache until John reveals his intent to return to his estranged wife, Martha, severing their connection. Shattered and teetering on the edge of despair, Jamie contemplates the tragic path of her mother but steels herself to a life of singularity and self-imposed celibacy. Fate, however, has a way of challenging the best-laid plans. Enter Mick McCabe (Brian J. O' Bryne), a charismatic TV Host whose presence in Jamie's life ignites a friendship that evolves into cohabitation. Their domestic tranquility is disrupted when John weaves back into Jamie's life, reigniting her dormant feelings. Torn between the familiar allure of John and the comforting stability of Mick, Jamie stands at the crossroads of her heart. In the midst of her tangled love life, she grapples with the lingering sorrow of her past and the weight of wrong decisions. Through the tumultuous journey of self-discovery, Jamie learns that the path to true love is seldom a straight line but often a winding road that leads back to oneself. "Easy" is a poignant exploration of love, loss, and the courage to choose not just between two men, but between past ghosts and future hopes.
