Plot

In the claustrophobic confines of a train cabin, five unsuspecting passengers find themselves sharing their journey with a sixth, an enigmatic figure introducing himself as Dr. Schreck, also known as Dr. Terror. This mysterious stranger, a tarot card reader, offers an unrequested glimpse into their futures, each prediction more chilling than the last. The train's first passenger, Jim Dawson, an architect on his way to refurbish a family home on an isolated island, is warned of an ancestral werewolf lurking in the shadows of the property. The second, Bill Rogers, a man simply seeking a pleasant vacation with his family, is foretold of a dangerously sentient vine threatening to overrun his summer house. Then, Biff Bailey, a musician fresh from a tour in the Caribbean, learns of a haunting voodoo melody that he will unwittingly unleash, while the haughty art critic, Franklyn Marsh, is warned of an impending clash with artist Eric Landor, a confrontation destined to end in tragedy. Finally, Dr. Bob Carroll, elated at his fiancée Nicole's decision to move to his small New England town, is chilled to the bone with a revelation about her and his colleague, Dr. Blake. As the train hurtles forward, so does the dread, as each passenger confronts their prophesied future and the passengers collectively grapple with the shocking identity of their sinister soothsayer, Dr. Terror. Unfolding in five distinct yet intertwined tales of horror, "Dr. Terror's House of Horrors" is a dread-infused journey into the unknown, where the future is as unpredictable as the next station.
