Haunted by the grisly memory of a night drenched in blood and terror, David Randall, a man burdened by accusations of a horrifying double murder, returns to his hometown. Despite the chilling echo of his pleas of innocence and the haunting silhouette of a masked murderer, his cries were dismissed, leaving him in the throes of a medicated schizophrenic existence. As he strives to rebuild his shattered life, the specter of his past resurfaces, casting a menacing shadow over his fragile peace. David's paranoia escalates when he senses that his friend and colleague, Melissa, is under threat from this phantom from his past. Desperate to protect her, he seeks the aid of his psychiatrist and the local law enforcement. However, their trust in David wavers, suspecting that he has abandoned his medication and plunged into a delusional abyss. The question that hangs heavy in the air is whether David himself is the impending danger to Melissa and those in her orbit. Or does the masked murderer truly lurk in the shadows, poised to strike, with David as the unwitting pawn in this macabre game once more?
