In the shadowy underworld of a quiet city, a chilling series of murders unfolds, leaving behind a grotesque tableau of disfigured bodies that confounds the local authorities. The epicenter of this macabre spectacle is an elitist cult, led by the urbane and affluent Professor Lafitte, a man who takes perverse pleasure in the collection of souls and orchestrates the heinous killings for his own twisted amusement.
Entwined in this malevolent web is Jack, a brilliant student of Lafitte's, whose obsession with avant-garde music becomes the catalyst for his descent into darkness. Compelled by his craving for innovation, Jack ventures to compose a unique concerto for synthesizer and samplers, with the unnerving sound of human screams as its spine-chilling inspiration. Little does he know, his mentor Lafitte intends to guide him down a perilous path of self-discovery, far beyond the boundaries of conventional creativity.
Meanwhile, Claudia, Jack's girlfriend, and Benny, his closest confidant, are journalists for the college newspaper. They find themselves investigating the same string of grotesque murders that have left the police bewildered. As they delve deeper into the mysteries shrouding their city, Benny stumbles upon a horrifying link that connects the murders, Professor Lafitte, and Jack.
As the sinister plot unfurls, Claudia's life hangs in the balance, threatened by Professor Lafitte's sinister acolytes and Jack's growing obsession. In a climactic finale, Jack's creative ambition and very life come under siege, leading to a harrowing confrontation that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
