Dirty (2016)

In the grimy world of narcotics, detectives Berg and Jackson are not your typical heroes. More villains than vigilantes, they spend their hours off duty looting the very drug peddlers they're supposed to incarcerate. Over time, their illicit ventures have reaped lucrative dividends, amassing a sizable trove of pilfered drugs and cash. But their seemingly foolproof plan crumbles when a bizarre case reveals their ill-gotten fortune, a whopping two and a half million dollars, has inexplicably evaporated. Now, ensnared in a web of greed and targeted by an intensifying internal investigation into police corruption, the duo embark on a frantic hunt through a seedy underworld teeming with gangsters, drug dealers, disgruntled bookies, and an eccentric junkie hoarder. With each lead, they uncover an increasingly bizarre trail of criminal oddities, yet the elusive stolen money remains just out of reach. Simultaneously, they must dodge the relentless pursuit of "Captain Scott", the new face of Internal Affairs who has conveniently ensconced himself in their unit, his suspicious gaze fixed on their every move. As time and options dwindle, the detectives realize that they've only begun to unravel the strange layers of their case. The body count escalates in the deadly dance of deception, a lethal game of cat and mouse that culminates in a shocking twist and the revelation of one final "DIRTY" secret. A secret that might just herald their downfall.
