Devil's Tower (2014)

Embarking on a fresh start, Sarah (Roxanne Pallett) seeks refuge from her tormenting past in a sprawling tower block, away from the clutches of her abusive mother. Here, she develops an unusual camaraderie with Sid (Jason Mewes), a squatter with a knack for the unconventional. Their ordinary lives take a spine-chilling turn when Sid's comrade, Paul, mysteriously vanishes, pulling them into a labyrinth of inexplicable fatalities and vanishing residents. As they delve deeper, they become pawns in a grotesque spectacle, controlled by a malevolent spirit. This sinister entity governs the building's televisions and cameras, weaving reality and fantasy into a grotesque tableau on a high-rise TV set. Their tower block, once a symbol of hope for Sarah, morphs into an arena of horror. The vengeful ghost, not content with raising an army of the undead, takes possession of Sarah's mother (Frances Ruffelle). With evil donning a familiar face, Sid and Sarah find themselves locked in a battle for survival. As the tower block is overrun by a horde of zombies, they must not only fight to stay alive but also to save their souls from the spectral wrath.
