Plot

In the haunting echoes of the 1970's, a timid teenager named Gabriel finds himself the cruel target of his high school peers. Trapped within the merciless confines of an incinerator during a fierce storm, a bolt of lightning sets the stage for a tragedy that scorches Gabriel's life into oblivion. Fast-forward to the present day, where seven high school students, each with their own misdeeds, are condemned to an after-school detention under the stern watch of Coach Littick. As the afternoon wanes, the school's sinister past thrusts itself into the present. Suddenly abandoned in the classroom, the students find themselves held captive by the school's ancient structure that has seemingly awoken with a vengeful spirit. As night descends, a tempest brews outside, its thunderous fury causing a sweeping power failure that cloaks the school in an unnerving darkness. Within this abyss, spectral apparitions begin to manifest, their eerie presence a chilling reminder of the school's grim past. Desperate to escape, the students manage a daring break from the classroom, only to find the school's labyrinthine corridors haunted by spectral presences. As the ghostly echoes of Gabriel's tormented past reveal themselves, the students realize their uncanny connection to the 70's tragedy. Their parents, it seems, played a pivotal role in the horrific fate of Gabriel. When they cross paths with Ms. Cipher, the enigmatic history teacher, and the local Sheriff, they learn of their inescapable entrapment within the school's vengeful grasp. As they navigate through the ominous library and dimly lit corridors, they are relentlessly pursued by Gabriel's spirit, seeking retribution for the past. In a chilling revelation, the students find out they are being held accountable for their parents' transgressions. Their punishment? A terrifying encounter with the past, a reckoning with an unresolved tragedy, and a desperate fight for survival in the shadowy recesses of Detention, where a ghostly specter awaits to claim its due.
