Plot
Helena (Marián Araújo), a curious tourist, along with her companion Martin (David Ryan), embarks on a seemingly serene journey across the picturesque county of Leitrim, Ireland. Their tranquility is shattered when their vehicle collides with a man. In a whirlwind of panic and confusion, they load the lifeless body into their car, only for the deceased to spring back to life, sinking his teeth into Martin.
A desperate Helena seeks refuge in a nearby cottage, but horror pursues her relentlessly, as even Martin falls prey to the terrifying transformation. Soon, she discovers a chilling truth: the area is crawling with the undead. Her only ally in this dystopian nightmare is Desmond (David Muyllaert), a stoic gravedigger.
Together, they navigate the zombie-infested countryside in search of sanctuary. Their journey takes a horrific turn when they encounter another couple and uncover the ghastly origin of the epidemic: the notorious mad cow disease has mutated, crossing the species barrier to convert humans into the walking dead.
