Dark Was the Night (2015)

In the gloomy silence of a marooned spaceship, teenage Vik and her father, Wyatt, live out their isolated existence, separated by a harsh barrier of glass. Their unusual life takes a bizarre turn as mysterious messages, seemingly from Vik's mother, believed to have perished in the crash, begin to permeate the airwaves of her radio. As these enigmatic transmissions grow more insistent, pleading with Vik to abandon the confines of the spacecraft, her bond with her well-meaning but controlling father begins to fray at the edges. The tension mounts as Vik is faced with an unthinkable dilemma: to place her faith in her father or to heed the spectral voice and brave the ominous, shadowy expanse of the alien planet. The moment of choice looms, promising to plunge her into an adventure as dark as the night itself.
