Plot

In the chilling heart of D-Tox (2002), we find FBI agent Jake Malloy, a man locked in a deadly dance with a serial killer. This ominous figure doesn't just despise law enforcement, but has a personal vendetta against Malloy, stemming from a series of unsolved prostitute murders four years prior. With nine officers already claimed, the killer strikes a devastating blow - slaughtering Malloy's close friend and beloved fiancé, Mary. This emotional maelstrom sends Malloy spiraling into alcoholism, prompting his steadfast colleague, Detective Hendricks, to intervene. In a desperate bid to save his friend, Hendricks enrolls Malloy in a secluded detox clinic nested in Wyoming's snow-laden wilderness. This haven specializes in rehabilitating law enforcement officers haunted by alcoholism, but its serenity is short-lived. The relentless killer infiltrates the sanctuary, assuming the identity of a fellow patient. As Malloy grapples with his demons in group therapy, a sinister shadow falls over the clinic. One by one, patients and staff members alike - Jaworski, Slater, Noah, Conner, and more - find themselves prey to the killer's ruthless game. With the facility's director, Doc, becoming the first casualty, the question looms large - who among them is the wolf in sheep's clothing? D-Tox combines elements of mystery, horror, and psychological drama to create a spine-chilling narrative that's sure to keep viewers on edge from start to finish.
