Plot

In the haunting shadows of an ancient beachfront castle, a nefarious tale of humour and absurdity unfolds. Wounded outlaw Richard "Dicky" and his fading confederate Albie, fleeing the clutches of justice, find themselves seeking sanctuary within the castle's cold stone walls. This peculiar fortress, teeming with chickens, is the rambunctious home of George, a timid Englishman with an intriguing American flair, and his spirited French wife, Teresa. As the reluctant hosts, George and Teresa find themselves embroiled in a twisted dance of hospitality, fear, and dark amusement with their uninvited guests. However, as time ticks by and Albie succumbs to his injuries, the castle's eerie atmosphere seeps into their lives, orchestrating a bizarre transformation in their relationships. The dichotomy between Dicky's hardened criminal persona and the eccentric couple's contrasting characters ignites a series of unpredictable shifts. As they await the arrival of Dicky's elusive boss, the trio descends into a whimsical whirl of oddity, where the lines between captor and captive blur. This strange cohabitation morphs into a tragi-comic ballet, painting a vividly absurd tableau of life in the 'Cul-de-sac'. Their tale is an intriguing labyrinth of humor and strangeness, sure to captivate those who dare to venture within.
