Plot

In the bustling cityscape of Bilbao, Basque Country, north Spain, Leyre, a spirited woman in her forties, is striving to establish a quaint cupcake shop, carving a fresh start for herself and her teenage son, Asier. Her tranquil existence shatters when Asier, in a moment of heated resentment, accidentally kills his despised father, Cosme, a corrupt CEO entangled in his second marriage with the cunning Vanesa. To shield Asier from the unforgiving claws of the law, Leyre conceals Cosme's lifeless body in his car, fabricating a faux harassment scene with a taxi driver to divert attention and establish an alibi. But the plot thickens as Vanesa, alongside her deceitful lawyer Susana, initiates a frantic search for Cosme and more importantly, his cell phone - a Pandora's box bursting with incriminating evidence against Bilbao's corporate elites. The situation deteriorates further when Leyre's world collides with Asier's best friend Julen, who is hopelessly smitten with her, and two local police agents, Andoni and Juantxu, who stumble upon Cosme's car, now a mobile tomb. Complications mount when Leyre's mother Paqui and her caregiver Evelyn are forced to move in after a flood wrecks their home. Caught in a frantic bid to safeguard their illicit dealings, Vanesa and Susana plot to frame Leyre, hoping to find the cell phone and prevent Asier from inheriting his father's tainted fortune. Amidst fending off Julen's relentless advances, managing Paqui's harsh demeanor, and trying to locate Cosme's cell phone while evading suspicion, Leyre finds herself ensnared in a devious scheme. As the stakes escalate, Vanesa and Susana concoct a more ruthless plan to keep the potentially company-destroying cell phone from surfacing. Will Leyre successfully navigate this treacherous crime wave?
