Color of Sky (2012)

In the heart of solitude, on a desolate island, resides a 60-year-old craftsman, a solitary sentinel of the sea. His only link to the world beyond his island is a monthly journey to the nearby harbor, his small motorboat heavy with the fruits of his labor - an array of unique handicrafts. His weathered face and seasoned hands attract the attention of a young 30-year-old burglar, harboring the reckless flame of youth and greed in his eyes. One day, seized by an unfulfilled desire for wealth, the young man leaps into the craftsman's boat, his threats echoing against the quiet harbor. Unfazed, the old man calmly starts the boat, steering a course not towards submission but towards the solitude of his island, trapping the young man in his world of isolation. Upon the lonely island, the young man discovers an unlikely family - a naive 7-year-old boy, a stunning yet deaf and mute 20-year-old woman, and a middle-aged man whose words stumble over his stammer. The burglar finds himself ensnared in a peculiar existence within the wooden shore house, sharing a life with four individuals as unique as the island itself. As the days blend into one another, a mystery begins to unfold. The young man, now a reluctant part of this island family, starts to witness life situations that starkly contrast the world he knows. He sees the beauty in the ordinary, the music in silence, the eloquence in stammers, and the purity of a child's laughter. His perspective morphs and he begins to understand the nuances of life, nature, and their harmonious coexistence.
