Plot

Nora's universe is the eclectic neighborhood of Berlin-Kreuzberg. An unassuming companion, she's always on the periphery: at bustling parties, in the hushed halls of school, by the shimmering pool, atop city rooftops, and within the confines of stark apartments. Nora flits around the stark symmetry of housing estates with her older sister and their gaggle of friends, navigating experiences that blend seamlessly in the dreamy haze of summer. She observes girls yearning for beauty and slimness, boys uttering foolish words - either as a guise for provocation or as a testament of love. A world of ruthless smartphone cameras and vulnerable teens unfolds before her. But Nora, with her unique perspective, sees the world in a different hue. Her life takes a transformative turn when Romy enters her life and she discovers the reason behind her distinct view. The air vibrates with the rhythm of music, Nora's body embarks on a metamorphic journey, and caterpillars weave their cocoons, mirroring her own coming of age. Told through Nora's lens, this film artistically encapsulates a summer of transformation, striking a chord of realism with its viewers.
