In the bustling heart of the Netherlands, impulsive saleswoman Susanne van Meeteren plunges into her latest whimsical endeavor - a mentorship program. Fate, with a hint of mischief, sees her 'unwittingly' select a boy, Soukri Eouzzani, a cheeky second-generation Moroccan youth. Soukri, a peeping Tom with an unexpected sensitive and artistic side, is thrust into her world to better grasp the Dutch language under his father Brahim's directive.
Soon, an unlikely camaraderie blossoms, and Susanne's daughter, Sofie, steps up to assist Soukri in conquering his academic nemesis: mathematics. Susanne, touched by Soukri's unspoken passion, encourages him to chase his dormant acting dreams, a pursuit he fears will disappoint his traditional father.
However, when Soukri's budding romance with Sofie is discovered, it stirs a whirlwind of chaos that causes her father to abandon their home. The turmoil escalates when Brahim discovers Soukri's secret departure from technical school, culminating in a heart-wrenching confrontation.
