Plot

In a world where identity is as fluid as the shifting sands, the lives of individuals intertwine in the bustling cities of France and Morocco. Antoine, driven by the echoes of a long-lost love, engineers a job transfer to Tangiers, yearning to reignite the flame with Cécile, his first love unseen for three decades. Complications arise as Sami, Cécile's son, arrives from Paris accompanied by his friend Nadia and her child, adding a layer of intrigue and tension to the reunion. Nadia's journey is twofold - she seeks to reconnect with her estranged twin, Aïcha, a devout Muslim resistant to the idea of encountering her troubled, pill-addicted sister. Meanwhile, Cécile navigates the choppy waters of her loveless marriage to Natan, a financially struggling Jewish doctor with a penchant for alcohol, yearning to return to the nostalgic streets of Casablanca. In this intricate web, Antoine clings to the dreamlike allure of romance, while Cécile grapples with the harsh realities of her life. Amidst the backdrop of lurking hazards embodied by dogs, mud, and blind complacency, the characters find themselves in a precarious dance, teetering on the brink of change. As they navigate the turmoil of their intertwined lives, the question remains: will their world be shaken to the core?
