Plot

In the swashbuckling adventure "Captain Kidd and the Slave Girl," the intriguingly charismatic Anthony Dexter, best known for his smoldering performance in "Valentino," brings to life the infamous sea raider, Captain Kidd. Narrowly escaping the hangman's noose courtesy of a cunning Earl with a keen eye on Kidd's buried treasure, the Captain embarks on a perilous journey with an unexpected companion. The Earl's secret weapon is the captivating Jeanine Duvall, who, under the guise of a slave girl, is tasked with prying the secret of the hidden treasure from Kidd. Their journey is marked by passionate clashes, each fight a simmering preface to an unexpected love story. As the Earl's poorly crafted plot unravels, Kidd and Duvall find themselves becoming unlikely allies, working together to thwart their common enemy. Joining the wild sea-bound escapade is Kidd's loyal compatriot, Simpson, brilliantly portrayed by Alan Hale Jr., whose unwavering allegiance adds an element of camaraderie and humor. Meanwhile, Sonia Sorrell, embodying the role of the notorious Ann Bonney, provides a tantalizing glimpse into the scandalous world of female pirates. "Captain Kidd and the Slave Girl" masterfully intertwines the thrill of high-seas adventure with the heart-stirring drama of an unexpected love story, all set against a backdrop of treachery and desire for unimaginable riches.
