Welcome to the laid-back life of Bud Howard, a charming yet out-of-work daydreamer residing with his mother Mary Jane and spirited younger sister Divine in the tranquil Baldwin Hills, California. Bud's life is a never-ending carousel of smoke-filled days and whimsical dreams of crafting a successful comic book series. His partners in this languid journey are his closest allies; Jpeezy, Ooley, and Pretty Tony, an assortment of characters as unambitious as they come. Their tranquil routine of inhaling the haze and diving into the world of comic books takes a sudden turn when they stumble upon a treasure trove of cannabis. Their luck, it seems, has just skyrocketed! However, they soon realize that they've unwittingly consumed the stash belonging to the neighborhood's formidable gang leader, and he is far from thrilled. As the local weed supply dries up unexpectedly, Bud and his friends are thrown into a comedic whirlwind of events as they attempt to create a substitute stash. Their endeavors accidentally give birth to a "super weed," placing them directly under the hostile gaze of the local gang. Meanwhile, a miscommunication leads the gang leader to believe that Bud is courting his lady, marking Bud as a target. Join Bud and his crew on a wild, smoke-filled adventure as they scramble to save their weed and their lives, all while navigating the eccentricities of their quiet neighborhood turned upside-down.
