Plot

In a world where the rough-and-tumble of street fights becomes the rhythm of life, Brothers traces the turbulent journey of two estranged siblings. Peter Braganza, a former mixed martial arts champion, stirs the pot of controversy by advocating for the legalization of street fights through his proposed league, Right To Fight. Amidst this chaos, the hardened Gary, a fallen sporting star marred by alcoholism and a tainted past, re-emerges from the shadows of prison life. His illegitimate son, Monty, a raw talent with a burning desire to prove himself, welcomes him back into the world. On the flip side of the family tree, David, Gary's older son, leads a dual life. By day, he's a mild-mannered physics teacher, by night, a fearsome street fighter. His secret life is born out of desperation to amass funds to save his ailing daughter, Maria, while his wife, Jenny, lives in a state of constant worry. The bitter past resurfaces when Gary attempts to reconcile with David, only to be rejected due to the tragic death of David's mother, for which he blames Gary and Monty. The government, in a surprising twist, legalizes street fights, providing the perfect platform for Peter Braganza's Right to Fight competition. This international event invites fighters from around the globe, bringing Monty, under Gary's rigorous training, into the fold. The real shock comes when David, driven by his daughter's medical needs, also joins the competition. It's a story of two brothers, two fighters, each battling their own demons, now pitted against each other in the ultimate fight. From the intensity of the training grounds to the dazzling lights of the ring, Brothers is a tale of family, redemption, and the lengths one will go to save those they love.
