In the tumultuous summer of 1964, the Brighton beaches serve as a fierce battleground for the Mods and Rockers while a deadly game of power and survival unfolds in the shadowy underworld. At the heart of it all is Pinkie Brown (Sam Riley), a ruthless young thug from Spicer's protection racket gang. Intent on dethroning his boss and seizing control from rival mobster Colleoni (Andy Serkis), Pinkie orchestrates a chilling murder of Fred, one of Colleoni's henchmen.
