In the vibrant yet unforgiving landscape of Marseilles during the early 1930s, best friends Roch Sifreddi and François Capella have ascended the precarious ladder of organized crime. In this high-stakes battle, Sifreddi's former safety net, the police's passive stance, is torn apart as the former Commissioner Fanti is replaced by Commissioner Cazenave, a man not adept at navigating the murky waters of gangland warfare. As the tension escalates, the police find themselves caught in the crossfire of Sifreddi and Volpone's brewing war, forced to reconsider their role and allegiances. For Volpone, the law is a mere tool to control the impoverished, adding another layer to this gripping tale of power, betrayal, and vengeance set against the backdrop of a city on the brink of a gangland war.
