In a desperate bid for her brother's wellbeing, Emily purchases an isolated house near a medical institution, hoping to provide Zach, who's confined by a severe form of Cerebral Palsy, a more nurturing environment. Along with her fiancé and two close friends, they embark on this new journey, unaware of the sinister secrets the house harbors. On their inaugural night, the group stumbles upon eerie symbols etched into the wooden window boards. Mistaking them for mere graffiti, they begin to erase these cryptic markings in an attempt to spruce up their new home. However, their innocent efforts inadvertently unleash an ancient malevolence that had been long confined within the symbols. Zach, once crippled, starts to show miraculous signs of healing, but this blessing quickly morphs into a nightmare. The house, now awakened, reveals a malevolent force that instigates a night of unimaginable terror.
