Blood Scarab (2008)

In the gloomy heart of Transylvania, the notorious lesbian vampire Countess Elizabeth Bathory, known for her gruesome past of bathing in maiden blood to retain her youth, embarks on a journey to Los Angeles. She seeks to claim the castle of her vampire husband, Count Dracula. Simultaneously, the 3000-year-old Mummy of Hor-Shep-Sut, a wicked Egyptian enchantress, resurrects in a museum, stepping into the darkness of the night. Count Dracula, engrossed in stalking his intended victims, Tanya and Mina, fails to reach his castle before sunrise and succumbs to the deadly kiss of daylight. His servant Renfield, having lost track of time while indulging in his insect-chasing obsession, battles guilt for failing to save his master. Upon encountering the disdainful Elizabeth, he is forced to confront her blood-soaked past and is coerced into procuring a female victim for her. Renfield delivers Mina to Elizabeth, who seduces and enslaves her in a video store's shadowy corner. With sunrise threatening, Elizabeth commands Renfield to find a daylight survival solution, prompting a desperate hunt. Even as he battles his own fears and attempts to overcome his insect addiction, Renfield discovers from Professor Foran, a museum archeologist, the legend of Hor-Shep-Sut. This newfound knowledge guides Renfield and Elizabeth to a curio shop, where they find the lifeless Mummy up for sale. Elizabeth, unflinching in her pursuit, murders the shop owner and steals the Mummy. Using the Mummy as a conduit, she contacts Hathor, the Egyptian blood goddess and sunlight deity Ra's sister. The goddess unveils a sinister path to sunlight survival: drinking the blood of three young women and stealing their spiritual twins, or "kas". Elizabeth executes this horrific plan, turning her victims into zombie-like handmaidens who turn against Renfield, leaving him for dead. After defying Hathor, a revitalized Renfield, fueled by a consumed fly, summons the goddess who takes over the Mummy's body. A deadly clash ensues between Elizabeth and the Mummy, with the vampire countess leveraging her undead powers. However, Renfield, wielding the sacred "Blood Scarab" and the Mummy's severed arm, pierces Elizabeth's heart, ultimately rescuing Hathor and bringing an end to the Countess's reign of terror.
