Plot

In the heart of a medieval clan, Princess Freya is the eye of a storm, desired by Sven who yearns for the throne that King Thorsson, her ailing father, occupies. Yet, Freya's heart beats for Agnar, a hero lost to the sea on a daring raid. The aging king, yearning for one last fabled adventure, embarks on a perilous journey to a distant island, shrouded in curses and whispered to be the dominion of a brutal Beast, a creature forsaken by Odin himself. Upon arriving, they are confronted by the horrifying reality: the island is the tomb of Agnar and his brave clansmen. A ferocious encounter with the Beast ensues, with most of their party falling prey to its wrath. As the frail King stands alone against the monster, Sven flees, cloaked by the pretense of aiding the injured Eric, abandoning his king to a grim fate. Back at the village, Sven seizes the throne, declaring himself king and demanding Freya as his queen with the rising of the next full moon. Eric, however, reveals to Freya the possibility of her father's survival, sparking a daring rescue mission. Accompanied only by her confidant, Ingrid, they venture into the Beast's realm where Freya makes the ultimate sacrifice, offering herself in exchange for her wounded father. Left in isolation on the accursed island, Freya uncovers a startling truth about the Beast. It is a tormented monster, a man cursed into a grotesque form by Odin, battling the beast within while clinging to the vestiges of his once noble humanity. As Freya finds herself locked in a deadly struggle with the Beast, she also becomes the beacon of his redemption. The tale intertwines fear and courage, deception and truth, brutality and love, as Freya confronts the Beast, unravelling a narrative that is as chilling as it is poignant.
