Plot
In an unexpected twist of fate, Dagwood, an everyman imbued with a dash of inventive genius, stumbles upon the creation of a revolutionary fire-proof paint. His mind brimming with visions of success, he is certain that this invention will secure a lucrative contract for his boss, the formidable Mr. Radcliffe, for the construction of a new school building. However, fate has a cruel sense of humor, as rival contractors, the nefarious Dillon and Stack, surreptitiously replace Dagwood's innovative paint with regular paint.
Keen to showcase this groundbreaking invention, Dagwood embarks on painting Radcliffe's summer home, only to bear witness to the spectacle of the house being consumed by flames. Disgraced and disheartened, Dagwood's plight seems irreversible until the introduction of Rollo, a boy prodigy who uncovers the sly paint switch executed by the villains.
Meanwhile, Blondie, Dagwood's astute and resourceful wife, immerses herself within the ranks of the unscrupulous contractors in a daring attempt to right the wrongs inflicted upon her beleaguered husband.
