Plot

Shrouded in the deceptive guise of an eco-activist, the enigmatic Michael Kittredge helms a team of razor-sharp mercenaries on a daunting mission. Their target: a sprawling oil rig stationed off the sunny Californian coast. Kittredge's sinister objective lies far beyond simple sabotage – his sights are set on launching an electromagnetic assault on the United States, a devastating strike echoing the horrors of a 'new Pearl Harbor', all for the benefit of hidden enemies of the nation. However, Kittredge's meticulous plan didn't account for one man, Lamont Dixon. A rugged tugboat captain, Dixon narrowly escapes an attack on his ship and finds himself embroiled in the heart of this brewing storm. Swiftly recruited by a tenacious FBI agent, Dixon's mission is twofold: to infiltrate the oil rig, gathering intelligence on the impending catastrophe, and, if he can, to thwart the terrorists' plans. As Dixon navigates the treacherous waters of espionage, he encounters an unpredictable ally in the form of a tech-savvy whiz stationed aboard the oil rig. The expert's fervor aids Dixon but also grates on his nerves, stirring an unsettling suspicion. Can he truly trust this peculiar companion? In the shadowy dance of danger and deception, Dixon must unravel the truth and save his nation from the edge of disaster.
