At the dawn of the 20th Century, shifting sands of the Arabian deserts bear witness to a fierce war between Emir Nesib of Hobeika and Sultan Amar of Salma. Their lands, once soaked in blood, now find a fragile peace in the form of 'The Yellow Belt', a vast, barren no man's land that whispers promises of neutrality. As an unorthodox assurance, Amar's sons, the fiery Saleh and the thoughtful Auda, are to be raised alongside Nesib's own children, Tarik and Leyla, in the prospering heart of Hobeika. Auda, armed with hope, travels to Salma to sway his conservative father, Sultan Amar. But Amar, a man of the old world, rejects the proposition, choosing instead to wage a war against Nesib's modern vision. Caught between the tides of tradition and progression, Prince Auda is forced to choose his allegiance. His decision will not only determine the fate of his family but also that of the Arabian lands teetering on the edge of transformation.
