Flung back into the unforgiving world after serving time for vehicular manslaughter, ex-truck driver Jack Crews (Patrick Swayze) navigates a road fraught with danger and deception. Desperate to salvage his family's home from the brink of loss, Jack seizes an 'off the books' job from his unscrupulous boss, embarking on a covert journey from Atlanta to New Jersey. Unbeknownst to him, the truck he pilots is a powder keg on wheels, brimming with illegal weapons.
