In the heart of rural India, we meet Dhaanu, a humble villager ensnared in the merciless grip of financial despair. With creditors at his heels, he mysteriously slips back into his village under the cloak of darkness. His only hope lies in Bhasmasur, his loyal donkey, whose sale in the bustling city can rescue him from his monetary abyss. His son, Tipu, cherishes a deep and affectionate bond with Bhasmasur, the donkey named after a mythical demon. Tipu's dreams are filled with the vivid colors and enchanting sounds of the city's annual fair, a spectacle he's yearned to witness. As Dhaanu resolves to sell Bhasmasur, Tipu's playful attempts to derail this plan prove futile. In a twist of fate, Dhaanu decides to bring Tipu along on their voyage to the city. Thus begins the winding trek from the arid landscapes of Rajasthan towards the pulsating heart of the metropolis.
