In the heart of cosmopolitan San Francisco, Jessica Barrett, a young English mother of two, is gleefully anticipating the arrival of her third child. Her life, shared with her devoted husband Robert, a reputable record producer, paints a portrait of familial bliss. However, as Jessica's pregnancy advances, it takes a turn towards the bizarre and the unexplainable. Her ordinarily genial demeanor is marred by violent outbursts, her voice deepens to an almost monstrous pitch, and her behavior becomes increasingly erratic. Is it possible that Jessica is under some demonic influence, carrying not just any child, but the devil's offspring?
