Under the scorching sun of the Brazilian badlands, April 1910, exists a place where time seems to forget its purpose. Here, young Tonho finds himself shackled by a grim ancestral duty: to avenge the death of his older brother. Commanded by his father and haunted by the blood-soaked rivalry between their family and another, Tonho stands on the precipice of a life-altering decision. His life, until now, is a tapestry of twenty years woven with simple joys and harsh realities. However, if he chooses vengeance, he is doomed to a fleeting existence, his remaining days numbered until the opposing family retaliates.
