In the mesmerizing world of showbiz, a young bisexual man, Scott Thorson, who has spent his life shuffling through foster homes, crosses paths with the dazzlingly flamboyant entertainment titan, Liberace. This chance encounter sparks an intense romantic affair, enveloping Scott in Liberace's extravagant world of wealth and excess. As Scott becomes the pianist legend's lover, he finds himself increasingly confined, isolated from the world by his extravagantly effeminate yet deeply private partner. Seduced by love and luxury, Scott surrenders to extreme physical transformations, enduring drastic makeovers and invasive plastic surgery, all at the whim of his lover. However, the opulence soon becomes a gilded cage, and Scott begins to suffocate, instigating a rebellion against his lover's control. When a new lover catches Liberace's eye, Scott is abruptly discarded onto the harsh streets. Feeling wronged and abandoned, Scott seeks legal justice for the life he believes was stolen from him. But despite the tumult and turmoil, the bond forged between the star and the young man never truly shatters, remaining a poignant thread throughout their story.
