In the elite corridors of Kræbesøgaard, an all-boys private boarding school, a cultural shake-up is about to unfold. The beloved rector, now appointed as the Minister of Culture, is leaving his post vacant. The baton of responsibility is set to pass onto the charismatic lector Mikkelsen, a favorite amongst the boys not just for his charm but also his progressive belief that the school should welcome girls. But there's a catch that threatens to disrupt this seamless transition - the school's archaic tradition dictates that the rector must be a married man, and Mikkelsen, a virgin and rather illiterate in the language of love, is as single as they come.
With a mere thirty-day window to find a bride or at least a fiancée, the stakes are high. If Mikkelsen fails, the detested lector Holst, nicknamed 'the doormat,' stands ready to assume control, a prospect that sends shivers down the spine of the school community. Thus, under the looming threat of Holst's monotonous rule, the boys embark on a spirited mission to get their beloved lector hitched and, in the process, initiate him into the world of romance and intimacy.
Their quest is far from straightforward, taking them on a dubious journey fraught with mishaps and hilarity. They enlist the help of a sultry stripper to seduce the inexperienced Mikkelsen, hoping to ignite his dormant passions. Meanwhile, the neglected wife of the outgoing rector and the chairman's daughters also throw their hats in the ring, offering to give Mikkelsen private lessons in human sexuality.
In this wild and rollicking ride, will Mikkelsen find his maiden and save the school from the impending doom of Holst's leadership? Or will the boys' well-intentioned plans lead to more chaos than order? The fate of Kræbesøgaard hangs in the balance in this uproarious comedy of errors that explores love, sexuality, and the desperate scramble to uphold tradition in the face of change.
