Plot

In the heart of her chaotic family, Beauty stands as the lynchpin. Her absence would plunge them into a world where nothing gets accomplished, and tardiness becomes the norm. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when her father incurs the wrath of a mysterious beast residing in an enchanted castle. Courageously, Beauty embraces the beast's punishment intended for her father. Exchanging the warmth of her family home for the cold stone halls of the castle, Beauty embarks on a journey of self-discovery. For the first time, she contemplates on her true desires, beyond the daily tasks she's accustomed to. With her enigmatic host surfacing only at supper, she devises her own methods of entertainment. Yet, when dusk falls, she is haunted by dreams of a forgotten prince pleading for her aid. As Beauty navigates her new life, she unravels the power of choices and the magic wishes hold. The castle becomes a crucible, pushing Beauty to understand what truly matters, and how far-reaching the effects of a single wish can be. This adaptation of Beauty and the Beast (1987) offers a mesmerizing tale of sacrifice, self-realization, and the transformative power of wishes.
