Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012)

Hushpuppy is a six-year-old girl who lives with her single father in the "Bathtub." It's a community of scavengers under threat from flooding and beasts called aurochs. The aurochs are boar-like creatures that have come to life after escaping from melting ice caps. As her father's health worsens, Hushpuppy develops an inner strength she didn't know she had.

Beasts of the Southern Wild is a drama movie featuring Quvenzhané Wallis and directed by Benh Zeitlin.
