Plot

In the heart of a secluded Californian forest, two young couples find themselves facing a terrifying force of nature after their celebration plans take a disastrous detour. Nick, eager to celebrate his parents' anniversary at a rustic steakhouse alongside his girlfriend Christine, his estranged brother Sam, and Sam's wife Liz, unwisely opts for a remote shortcut. Their journey abruptly halts as their van succumbs to a flat tire, stranding them in the wilderness's eerie silence. Their predicament takes a chilling turn when a curious grizzly bear emerges from the forest's depths, its eyes locked onto the vulnerable group. Bold and desperate, Sam draws his pistol, ending the bear's life with a deafening gunshot. But the forest, once silent, echoes with a new, menacing presence: the fallen bear's mate, hell-bent on revenge. The vengeful grizzly assaults their van with terrifying intelligence and power, flipping it onto its side and trapping the couples within the twisted metal of their only sanctuary. As night descends, the tension escalates. The group, cornered by the relentless beast, must devise cunning strategies to survive the night-long siege. However, the fear and adrenaline unearth hidden secrets threatening to splinter their unity, making their survival against the bear an even more precarious battle. In this primal fight for survival, the couples must confront not only the fury of a grieving grizzly but also the skeletons lurking in their own closets. Will they overcome the dread gripping them, or will the hidden truths rip them apart before the bear does? Find out in the thrilling movie, Bear (2010).
