When the naive yet sharp-witted Badal (Bobby Deol) trades his humble village for the sprawling metropolis, he is thrust into a whirlwind of city life by his guide, Danny (Harish Patel), formerly known as Damru. With the allure of higher education, Badal finds himself in the bustling corridors of a prestigious college, where he crosses paths with the beautiful and vivacious Tina Oberoi (Twinkle Khanna). Amidst a few hiccups and misadventures, their friendship blossoms into love, painting an idyllic portrait that is disrupted by the harsh strokes of her father, Dinesh Oberoi (Raj Babbar). Dinesh, a wealthy magnate, has grand matrimonial plans for Tina with his friend's son, plans that do not include the audacious Badal. As the stakes escalate, Dinesh commissions Neghi to execute a sinister plan - assassinate Badal. The ruthless lawman recruits a gang of merciless outlaws to carry out the deadly contract, while Dinesh pressures Tina to sever her ties with Badal.
