Plot

When the naive yet sharp-witted Badal (Bobby Deol) trades his humble village for the sprawling metropolis, he is thrust into a whirlwind of city life by his guide, Danny (Harish Patel), formerly known as Damru. With the allure of higher education, Badal finds himself in the bustling corridors of a prestigious college, where he crosses paths with the beautiful and vivacious Tina Oberoi (Twinkle Khanna). Amidst a few hiccups and misadventures, their friendship blossoms into love, painting an idyllic portrait that is disrupted by the harsh strokes of her father, Dinesh Oberoi (Raj Babbar). Dinesh, a wealthy magnate, has grand matrimonial plans for Tina with his friend's son, plans that do not include the audacious Badal. Despite his complaints to the college principal (Vijay Kashyap), Tina's unwavering testimony in favor of Badal leaves Dinesh resorting to desperate measures. He enlists the help of the city's corrupt Assistant Commissioner of Police, Neghi, who's more than willing to wield his power against Badal. In the blink of an eye, Badal is ensnared in a web of false accusations and finds himself behind bars, leaving his father (Mukesh Khanna) grappling with the unfathomable events that led his son to prison. As the stakes escalate, Dinesh commissions Neghi to execute a sinister plan - assassinate Badal. The ruthless lawman recruits a gang of merciless outlaws to carry out the deadly contract, while Dinesh pressures Tina to sever her ties with Badal. As the city's underbelly conspires against him, will Badal manage to outsmart his enemies and survive? Will Tina's love prove to be his salvation or the cause of his downfall? The story unfolds as we delve deeper into the shadows of this gripping tale, where love is pitted against power, and innocence is caught in the crosshairs of corruption.
