Band Baaja Baaraat (2010)

Hailing from an average middle-class household in Delhi, Shruti (Anushka Sharma) is a spirited young woman with determination in her eyes and well-defined dreams in her heart. As she navigates her final year of college, her ambitions are as clear as a summer's day. On the other side of the spectrum, we meet Bittoo (Ranveer Singh), a fellow final year student, whose life is as aimless as a paper boat in the monsoon rain. His days are spent in merry frivolity with his friends, just managing to pass his exams. Fate, that unpredictable puppeteer, pulls their strings together in an unexpected encounter, setting them off on a roller-coaster ride of a lifetime. They find themselves at the helm of their own enterprise, a vibrant "Wedding planning ka bijness". But they set a golden rule to keep their venture afloat: "Jisse vyapaar karo, usse kabhi na pyaar karo" (Never let love interfere with business). Together, they embark on a journey through the extravagant tapestry of Delhi's wedding scene, their friendship and business swaying to the rhythm of its highs and lows. In their quest to find their individual identities, Shruti and Bittoo stumble upon each other in a new light. They soon realize that the journey has not only led them to break their own rules but also to the unmistakable sound of their hearts beating in harmony.
