In the pulsating heart of Midtown Manhattan, we find David, a freshly-minted university graduate shackled to the monotony of a thankless job at a consulting firm. A timid 22-year-old aspiring novelist, David's life is a cycle of soul-draining weekdays and hallucinogen-induced weekend escapades on his bike with friends. His existence takes an exciting turn when he crosses paths with the dazzling Kate at a party. A beautiful enigma, Kate not only captivates him but willingly steps into his life, transforming his dull flat into a shared sanctuary and infusing his mundane existence with a dash of color.
