Aravindante Athidhikal is a poignant tale of hope and longing, unraveling within the mystical environs of a 1200-year-old temple, a place of divine blessings where Mookambika Devi is believed to have left her sacred mark. The narrative threads its way through the life of Aravindan, an abandoned five-year-old who was discovered on a hallowed Navarathri day in 1996, left in the sanctum of Mookambika Devi.
Aravindan's life journey is a tapestry of cheerfulness and hidden sorrow, intertwined by the mother Goddess's unseen guidance and the tangible love of a lodge owner, Madhavan, who becomes the nurturing figure he desperately needed. Aravindan matures into a jovial young man, his heart brimming with an undying hope, a longing to embrace the mother who had once forsaken him. The narrative takes a subtle turn with the arrival of Girija and her daughter Varada from Kerala.
