Plot

In the glimmering world of gambling, Charley Kying has stood as a casino owner for a decade and a half. Yet, on a stormy evening, his dual life - his beloved family home and his thriving gambling den - is threatened by an array of converging events and characters. A clandestine medical diagnosis reveals a severe heart condition, with the daily grind of professional gambling putting his life on a dwindling timer. That very day, Charley is confronted with the harsh reality of his familial neglect. His devoted wife has been overshadowed by his obsession with the casino, and his son, disillusioned by his father's infamous reputation, rejects Charley's overtures for his prom night. Adding fuel to the fire is Charley's parasitic brother-in-law. Not content with freeloading off Charley at home, he plots with rival gamblers to swindle him out of a small fortune in his own casino. The night grows darker as Charley's past comes back to haunt him. A wealthy ex-lover reappears, suggesting they rekindle their old flame. An age-old adversary swears to bankrupt Charley at his own tables. Worse still, a former mentor turned desperate gambler spirals into despair, attempting to end his life. As the stakes rise and tensions mount, it seems that this may be Charley's final night in the casino, a whirlwind of challenges threatening to topple his empire and his life.
