In the tumultuous backdrop of a South Pacific Island swaying under the threat of insurgent forces, missionaries Father Mahon and Sister Ann McKeon endeavor to maintain peace. Their tranquil existence shatters when a savage assault leaves their village leaderless and Father Mahon lifeless, thrusting Sister Ann into a vortex of chaos.
